Precision Agriculture Center Hosts the 2019 Production Agriculture Symposium

The Precision Agriculture Center proudly hosted the 2019 Production Agriculture Symposium, themed "Dialing In: Precision Agriculture in Action." The symposium brought together researchers, students, and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements and practical applications in precision agriculture.
The event featured:
- Three keynote addresses from leading experts.
- Student oral presentations showcasing innovative research.
- Panel discussions with industry leaders.
- A student poster session and competition, highlighting emerging research in precision agriculture.
The symposium was a resounding success, with an impressive 240 attendees. A special thank-you goes to the sponsors, Corteva Agrisciences, Minnesota Soybean Growers, and Minnesota Corn Growers, for making the event possible.
Pre-Symposium Roundtable:
On the day before the event, the organizing committee hosted an insightful roundtable discussion with keynote speakers Dr. Raj Khosla (Colorado State University) and Dr. Kelly Thorp (USDA-ARS, Maricopa, AZ). Although Dr. Wonsuk Lee (Mississippi State University) arrived later, his contributions as a keynote speaker enriched the symposium.
