Congratulations to Dr. Yuxin Miao on his appointment as the Director of the Precision Agriculture Center at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Soil, Water, and Climate. Dr. Miao, an Associate Professor of Precision Agriculture and Nutrient Management, officially began his role as Director in July 2023.

With an impressive background in precision agriculture, remote sensing, and nutrient management, Dr. Miao has led groundbreaking research in sustainable agriculture practices. His work has greatly advanced precision nutrient management strategies and crop production efficiency, supporting farmers worldwide to achieve optimal productivity while improving environmental sustainability.
