Objectives

  • Determine whether vegetation and topographic indices computed from Remote Sensing data and terrain models can improve prediction of crop N status, and whether these indices can be used to predict the crop yield or crop quality response to late season N application.
  • Low-altitude remote sensing of soil and crop conditions within farm fields.
